Summary of outcome:

The consumer requested financial hardship assistance.  We found that the FSP was not required to give the consumer a hardship arrangement – for example, a reduction in payments or a payment moratorium.  This was because it was unclear when the consumer’s financial position will improve enough for her to meet her payment obligations.  This includes meeting her minimum payments and payments to clear her arrears.
