Case summary

The FSP’s unduly harassed the consumer as it continued collection activity after the consumer disputed his liability, did not resolve the consumer’s liability dispute in a timely manner, and unreasonably delayed in correcting the consumer’s credit file.  The FSP and the consumer both accepted our Recommendation that the FSP compensate the consumer $500 for non-financial loss.
