From 1 November 2018, the Credit & Investments Ombudsman (CIO) will be replaced by the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA).
AFCA will deal with all new financial services complaints from this date, and manage any ongoing complaints previously lodged with CIO.
For complaints lodged with CIO up to 31 October 2018, members should continue to use the CIO self-service portal.
For complaints lodged with AFCA from 1 November 2018, members must use the AFCA member portal on the AFCA website.
